Hollywood Catterick Race 5

I've been phoning your call centre to rectify the payout on my bet. The staff seems to be at a lost to sort out my bet. The winner was no. 1 and the rest of the field did not finish. So if i took a trifecta banker 1 with 2,3,4 for R30 I will catch all possible combinations which is 30 times as the field applied for 2nd and 3rd thus my payout will be the dividend which is R4.10 time 30. I never receive this payout. What agitates me most is that a guy in the background says what balls is he talking about !!! I think I deserve better

Naresh your maths is crooked it can ONLY be caught 5 X by you. The reason they say field is because all the numbers count for payout BUT you can ONLY have 1x1x1 combi x 5

Let me start by saying that Hollywood did rectify the Payout about 2hrs after the race which will tell you I was correct in my calculations.

My explanation is as follows,

If you take a PA for R64 no matter what percentage you take 10%, 50%, 2x, 4x the most times you can catch the PA is 64x

As for the Trifecta,

If I took a Trifecta banker 1/2,3,4 for R6 which equals full unit,

The combinations are as follows,

1/2,3
1/2,4
1/3,2
1/3,4
1/4,2
1/4,3

Now if I took that bet on 6 separate tickets dont you think I will have got Paid for 6 combinations as the field (ALL) applied for 2nd and 3rd and not as you said for 1 combination only !!!

In total I took the trifecta 15x for R180. I ended up catching it 90x () So it made a huge difference in my winnings

Just to let you know before I take a quartet or trifecta I already know what percentage I will get,

For eg, if I take a quartet 2 horses for first, 4 horses for second, 6 horses for third and 8 horses for fourth, which equals,

2 by 4 by 6 by 8 (All number to be repeated)

The way you calculate is by subtracting 3 horses from fourth, 2 horses from 3rd, 1 horse from 2nd and multiply by first,

So it works out to 2*3*4*5 = R120 full unit.
