Chicken... you go too far sometimes man. There was nothing unreasonable with anyone's comments here, it is a sad fact that horses die in racing and from your first comment I definitely got the impression you were implying HR would be more concerned about the money. A lot of the comments you received thereafter I am sure was because of that. I am not an animal lover and have no problem admitting it but I hate to see horses or any other animal suffer and I am sure a lot of people here feel it much more than me. They are separate issues, 1 is about the horse, 2 is about horse racing. Take a chill pill my friend. And as for being English and therefore by implication... a knob, I have no problem with that, the world is about opinions etc, but I've set foot in over 40 countries and never felt hated, infact I'm normally told how much people love the English... but we are a sarcastic bunch, often very personal in our humour, and there are certain people who feel very insecure with it and that makes them very weary of us, tis a shame but tis the way we are... and I'd rather be that way than a German with no sense of humour, an arrogant Frenchie with no justification for my arrogance etc... please note, no comment about South Africans... or even Scots!
