Greg you stole my Thunder there. How can Legal Action be double the odds of Midnight Serenade when the last time they met Legal Action won by 2 lengths and is 7,5 kg's better off. The Tarry runner could be a star but at 12/1 is worth an each way bet. I make her stablemate the biggest danger and think Orange is going to have a great race. Will take a swinger on Orange's two runners. (tu)

Second Tycoon is a big,big runner..
They way he won last time out,was very impressive, now 3rd run after rest..well prepped for this run..maybe the only horse to trouble Tarry's star

beating weak fields is one thing...but setting good times is where it counts.....tarrys runner ran the same time as did paella in a mr 90+ handicap on the same day..so that victory has to be an excellent indication of his ability..and he wasn't even tested on the grass prior to that run...so he has tons of improvement...but my bet is taking .65/10 secong tycoon for a place....to me is an absolute boat race

Thoughts - after Thursday I'm not sure anybody's interested - but here goes anyway:

R3: I think Indian Striker will improve lengths over this trip and is fair value imo
R4: 'Appy' handicap for filles and mares - over 2000 as well - so no point and hope - Juglall probably the guy to follow, but Bibbety Bobbety the right one at the weights - I'm loading up
R5: Obviously Soft Falling Rain - Ryder Cup the only possible danger imo
R6: Que Bonita looks the right one on collateral form - but these are juveniles so anyhting possible - lots of money for the 1/2 sister to Sweet Sanette (Franny) who is a must for the JP - and money for Que Bonita's stable mate Sweet Destiny - the games people play - also Straight Set made a nice debut - not easy
R7: For those who missed USO, Skitt Skizzle ran to a 92 in his maiden win - but is running of an 84 due to our wonderful handicapping 'rules' - must be a big runner on that - Second Tycoon also seems top class and the Erasmus coupling could upset the applecart at these weights
R8: Again the Tarry horse Heavy Metal ran to a 100 last week, so is effectively 5.5 kg's better off with anything else in the field - but he has had a busy time of late, so imo it is possible that he may not reproduce last week's effort - I'm giving Rheims another chance with a low weight
R9: Tough close to the meeting - my first choice is Dan's Approval who is improving steadily after a rest, but both Indian Firecracker and Al Felon (1 win from 47 starts) come from in-form stables and for a real roughie consider the Naidoo trained Big Light - I don't think anybody needs to be reminded about Costsaver (not forgetting Cape Winter) on Thursday

Play well (tu)
