He is absolutely brilliant and you are a disgrace to racing because if Anton cant get your horse home it was never gonna win. So why dont you compare his riding to a few other jocks and stop wasting stipes time and embarassing yourself. Anton is quite right you need to get off the medication you are on - Up to Anton you are brilliant and i salute you because you count for more than 5 percent on a horse. How many of Anton's winners are favourites? Just wondering, as i haven't seen him ride a 6 or 7 to 1 shot in a long time...........and i know he is the top jock and will hardly ever not ride the "roughies" of the race. Not knocking him, just think the % will be rather high on favourite winning rides. Keep up the excellent work Andre.........i mean Arthur

these stipes are an absolute joke.....and if i am on course soon...i am gonna tell them that to their face.....firstly when they get information like that...they supposed to see the race...before they even speak to the the jock or trainer or connections...because even if something was up....that party is gonna change their intent....(but having said that...its not for 1 single moment i am insinuating that marcus was up to something...that in itself is a joke)...and the next time i have a runner...as an annon. i am gonna phone these same stipes..tell them some hogwash story...at least i know then that they will talk to the jock ...and i will get a full run ....but these stipes are running racing like a circus......sometime ago..we backed a drier horse...in pmb....from 20/1..into 16/10...this horse was having its second run,...its first run it ran 15 lenghts off the winner....they call him mr drier to tell hime that they are watching this horse ...he told them straight...u can do all the watching....if u didnt put it in the stipes report that the horse didnt act in the soft 1st time out after me telling u about it...then this is your problem...and not mine regarding improved performance...the horse duly won....but the point again...these stipes are not doing their job professionally....and to think that their word is final...regarding objections and other issues is ludicrous

Surely there can be nothing wrong with telling Anton about the call before the race,what it shows is that no matter how honest any jockey is none of them even Anton are perceived to be above the law in fact if they get a call like that it is their duty to take the steps that they did...should any person believe that there is something untoward in a race and calls it in and the stipes ignore it then that would be a disservice to the racing public...the sad thing is that had Anton been beaten on the horse for whatever reason then there would have been an uproar and people would have been calling for his head the fact that he won the race left the caller and all his fellow conspiracy theorists with egg on their face...credit where credit is due this time the stipes got it 100% right.

titch...if i tell u that something is going down tommorrow..at a certain place and time...and tell u who the person is....u phone that person today and tell hime i am watching u ,because i have info that u r pulling something down....and then the event doesn't occur...is it the informer's tip off wrong or what......u supposed to stake out that parameters and be prepared for any eventuality...not tell the 'perpretrator'...that i am watching u tommorrow

So what you suggest is that they must not approach any jock let the race run and then bust him for "pulling up" the favorite?? where does that leave any of the punters who has backed the horse??
Prevention better the cure should come into play when peoples money involved..
No doubt if it came out after the race that the stipes were aware of the problem b4 the race and did nothing about it then all hell would break loose,,,and rightly so.

titch...in this case...i think it was totally wrong....firstly..u dont respond to any bullshit stories...by putting undue pressure on a person....what do u think the pressure was on marcus during that race....must have been more than when he is riding a 1/10 shot in the melbourne cup...thios was ridiculous to even tell him about that prank...and let me tell u...that crank caller got exactly what he wanted....some fame.....this should have been handled totally differently if i were in charge.U could see that anton was totally upset in the interview...so he was definitely affected by the call..any lesser jockey would have crumbled...would u now want that type of scenario..when u were gonna get 100%..now u gonna get less than that because the jocks mind is all screwed up..because of what u just told him
