NTRA
Sad to report that Graham Motion just tweeted out that Animal Kingdom came up sore following his workout this morning and will not make the trip to Dubai. We wish him the best of luck in a speedy recovery!

Three months off for injured Animal Kingdom
BY NICHOLAS GODFREY 8:05PM 15 MAR 2012
USA: Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom is likely to be sidelined for at least three months after his latest injury was diagnosed as a stress fracture to his pelvis.
Trainer Graham Motion told the Daily Racing Form the injury was unrelated to the one that kept Animal Kingdom off the track for eight months after last year's Belmont Stakes.
"He has a stress fracture," said Motion. "He does not have a fracture per se; it's the beginnings of a fracture. It's not an injury that can be discovered by a simple x-ray.
"Fortunately we got him in for the bone scan and it's great we were able to catch this thing before it became more significant. It is definitely unrelated to his previous injury."
The injury means Animal Kingdom will miss the Dubai World Cup, but Motion will be represented at Meydan by UAE Derby contender Lucky Chappy.
