Any horse running only a length behind Igugu will be my jpot and p6 banker, all the critics why it can't win, i am sitting in the Striker camp.....time will tell. Imho if that was a 1400 in the Cape me thinks the result might have been in favour for GTGL

u r under the right tent.....work has been exceptional..and quite frankly thats all we need to know....if it gets beat it wont be because he needed the run...but we all know and expect it ,not to be a 100 %,because todays conditional plate is not its mission in jhb

Striker is a very good jockey no doubt about it.

Especially when he rides horses that can win going to the front at the start and then going through with it. A horse like Gibralter Blue would be a good ride for him. But if he takes GTGL to the front he could get swamped at the end. GTGL is the youngest horse in the race and their are some tough customers there like Two Tone, Wittenberg, Rebel Knight ect and Welwitshia won the Spring Challenge over the distance

So I wouldnt be too cocky about GTGL however he is class which he showed against the battle hardened Bravura and other older horses over the 1600 before the Met

If you were going to float 2 horses in a trifecta in race 2 which two would it be?

Great card today. In 80 days should get it right. Ilsanpietro is a good stayer and back to his best distance. GMTGL only needs to go into the stall to win this one. Extra zero back to a sprint should run well. methinks its gonna be a Dazzling day......

Not the type of race to be playing that kind of trifecta imo, but if you insist I would take a ''gamble'' and float Princess of light and Dunraven with the field....

Gregbucks, what iyo is the best bet for this type of race with such a small field?
