A bit early but some good racing and horses, it's just started raining but hope for the best.

Ilsanpietro and Acapella can get the punters of to a winning start.

We have GMTGL vs Welwitschia, not sure if Run For It will run?

Variometer all the best to Louis G

Good punting!

Jockey booking is very,very interesting..
Making Gib Blue a big runner..but if she sets the pace at the blistering pace she normally does, once they hit the str8(if he runs) Run For It might win this 1..
If not win, he will definitely be finishing fastest of them all

Run for it has no chance imo at this trip against this field..

Rebel Knight is a big runner ,watch out for it being a rough race out wide...

Race 2 - Pinnacle - ILSANPIETRO (nap), has a weight advantage over Princess Of Light but a massive weight advantage over the rest, a Joburg Gr1 performer, Delpech/de Kock, any price

Race 5 - Conditions - RUN FOR IT, a big weight advantage of varying degrees over most, a Gr1 performer, 1400m may be a little short of his best but the race is packed with pace, me thinks plenty of value at 6's

Race 6 - Sun Chariot - ALESSANDRIA, lightly raced, impressive and easy in last start, will be shopping for 7/2 and better

Race 7 - Bauhinia - PRINCESS RUE, unfashionable Juglall and Naidoo in form, form has been franked by Victrixit in penultimate win, can't get hurt at 8's

I think Welwitschia prefers this trip and should go close at these weights - I made Run For It the danger, but GMTGL seems to be attracting the money, so Welwitschia for me

In race 2 Ilsanpietro the obvious one, but it's a small field and the pace could play a roll in the outcome - Princess of Light will probably set her own pace and no surprise if she holds on

Acapella looks a pointer in race 4, but this stable is not known for consistency - so maybe a first timer can upset the fav

Race 6 very competitive handicap, but Heyouneverknow could provide an upset - well in with the fancied Hot Tip, so not to be ignored imo

Variometer is the right one imo in race 7 - but maybe she does not like it soft (LG?) - so if there is rain about it, it brings Extra Zero into the race imo - I think these 2 stand out

With the scratching of City of Angels in the last, this becomes a bit of a lottery, money for the well related first timer Tetre Noir, but perhaps Conne Mara Black deserves one last chance

Enjoy (tu)

Some lovely racing tonight. Agree Acapella looks the obvious banker and like Frodo am worried about the consistancy of the yard.

GMTGL and Welwitschia should provide a cracking race, I would lean towards Welwitschia because I believe the 1400 will suit her better and GMTGL has bigger things lined up for him.

Ilsanpietro if 80% ready should win here tonight only giving Princess Of Light 3,5 kg's should get our PA's off to a good start.
