Horatio the main reason a top jockey in contention for the championship would get off a ride is if he finds out or knows the horse is mad and could injure him on the way to the start or in the pens. Is your horse like that?

can't imagine Ant would take a ride then get off using a bad draw as a reason??? He has picked up a ride for garth that is drawn 9/10 over a mile...could maybe be the horses temperament that is in question as Craig suggested??

Craig,
I can assure u that my horse is not "mad" or does she have a history of playing up.
Titch,
The reason this jockey jumped off is because he belives there is not chance of winning from that draw.

H what confuses me is that surely he could have seen the draw when the weights came out and still took the ride?

Titch I am very confused as well. Don't understand why he would accept and then decline. He would have known the draw way in advance

incorrect..delpech himself only would have seen the draw when the racecard came out..

Surely jocks watch the scratchings and noms, so they know the draws?
