Jip, have to agree. There is some bad mistakes being made by members of top teams. Look what happened to Schumacher in the last 2 races? Hope Alonso can pull it off in front of his home crowd.

Pastor Maldonado was the hero of Barcelona on Sunday afternoon. The Venezuelan’s speed in his Williams FW34 came out of left field on Saturday, and in the race he became the fifth different winner this season and the seventh in seven races when he steered it to the British team’s first victory since Brazil 2004.
So a remarkable race with the fairy tale ending that Alonso denied Sauber in Malaysia provided a superb present for Sir Frank Williams only days after his 70th birthday.
It moves Alonso to joint first place in the drivers' championship with Vettel, both with 61 points, but with the German stays ahead on count back. Hamilton’s great damage limitation run keeps him in play with 53 with Raikkonen on 49, Webber 48, Button 45, Rosberg 41, Grosjean 35, Maldonado 29 and Perez 22. In the constructors’ stakes Red Bull have 109 to McLaren’s 98, Lotus’s 84, Ferrari’s 63, Mercedes and Williams on 43 apiece and Sauber on 41.
It was a tremendous day for Maldonado, who has come in for criticism in the past for some of his driving, but he never put a wheel wrong and thoroughly deserved a racer’s win. Small wonder that on the podium Alonso and Raikkonen hoisted him on to their shoulders to help him celebrate a fantastic triumph.

Monaco.....can't wait
Michael Schumacher showed that his old Monegasque fire still burns by pipping Mark Webber for pole position here in Monaco on Saturday afternoon, but the Australian had the last laugh as the German had to take a five-place grid penalty for his indiscretion in Spain.
Webber had just redefined the ante in Q3 with 1m 14.381s in his Red Bull when Schumacher roared home in 1m 14.301s for Mercedes.
Behind them, Nico Rosberg underlined the speed of the silver arrows with 1m 14.448s, while Lewis Hamilton was fourth on 1m 14.583s for McLaren. Romain Grosjean, who has shown flashes of great speed all weekend, was fifth for Lotus on 1m 14.639s, ahead of the Ferraris of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa on 1m 14.948s and 1m 15.049s.
Schumacher’s penalty reshuffles the top six as Webber, Rosberg; Hamilton, Grosjean; Alonso, Schumacher.

Well done Mark Webber....6 races and 6 different winners, Mercedes showing signs of maybe winning a race or 2.....did not like him in the beginning, but Alonso looks like a great driver. Still hoping for a Schumi win(tu)

Sebastian Vettel took a superb pole position in Montreal on Saturday despite a heroic last-lap effort from Lewis Hamilton which took the McLaren within millimetres of the wall on the exit to the final corner.
