If you dont know then dont speak/type.
Godolphin a few years ago threatened to pull out of Uk racing, the panic was huge. They had a just cause for this action BUT nevertheless to think that 1 operation could affect so many lives was scary.
Goose your 6 points are valid, the issue is what happens when Mr Jooste is the owner of 40% of the horses in a stable and for example mmmmmmm oh sadly his lear jet crashes (not wishing him ill) and the trust fund left behind says bugger the horses?
Or
He gets the hump with racing and one fine morning says sell the lot
or
the closet doors bursts open and so many skeletons fall out that its untanable to conitue racing
either way it cannot be healthy to have 1 person (slightly different from godolphin) having so much power/lobbying/insight into any sport.
NO man is bigger than the game BUT any man with 20% of horses in training is already to big

my last comment on jooste is as follows
"short term he is brilliant for horseracing, long term his power will be the end of many "

Green is the colour of the jooste silks, his money(he makes alot of dollars) and green is also the colour of the ppl who continue to slate a man for having billions and investing in a sport that not many other zillionaires are willing to support

All of the above ensures thousands are employed...who cares whats the mans motive.

We must force Red Bull and Maclaren out of Formula One, top jocks must get less rides, Igugu must be banned from SA Racing, Summerhill must reduce their amount of broodmares and Coca Cola must take down all signs displaying their logo.
And Toyota must reduce their range and production and Castle may only sell on Mondays.
Yeah, right, Einstein.
