Another monster for TVI

Love him or hate him, I believe there is NOBODY on this face of this beautiful planet who can pick a horse like Barry Irwin!!!
He went all the way to England and found a colt who got beat on the grass at Haydock over 7 furlongs with a dirt pedigree. He bought him, brought him over to the US and has been preparing him slowly. He won the Spiral today on Polytrack (same race AK won to get into the Derby) with consummate ease. The horse ran green as grass and pulled away to win easing up.
I'm not saying he will win the Derby but what I am saying is that TVI have two BIG runners this year. A horse called Howe Great (whom Barry believes is a better Turf horse), but I believe is a champion (and he may just be able to run on the dirt too) and now Went the Day Well!!!!
I wish him and his partners nothing but the absolute best!
Keep on marching to the beat of your own drum Barry!!! It is one super beat!!

Thanks for blowing smoke up my buttocks!
Hey, how about this? I have $120 to win on WTDW in Las Vegan at 150 to 1.
And right after I bought the colt, I found and bought him dam, who is due to foal this week and has been booked back to Proud Citizen, the sire of WTDW.

Yesterday, when Went The Day Well won the $500,000, Grade 3 Spiral Stakes (same race Animal Kingdom won last year) to qualify for the Kentucky Derby, he became stakes winner number 125 for a horse syndicated by Barry since 1987. It also was Graded stakes win number 150.
He bought the Kentucky-bred colt after he ran second in a maiden race on grass last season in England.
congrats Barry (tu)

I don't have a bet on Howe Great, because my plan all along was that if he ever got that far, I always knew that I could contact you and cut a deal, wherein you would let me half of your ante-post bet in exchange for me agreeing to run him in the Derby! I am not as dumb as I look!!!

Even though I know you are kidding I would never ask you to run any horse in any spot that wouldn't be right for him (and I know you feel exactly the same as I do)
Lets see how the blue Grass goes. Hansen will be there too. Should give you a decent idea of where you are?

Lucky Chappy apparently is doing very well according to my trainer.
It seems that on the first day of training at Meydan, he was a bit rambunctious and used Royal Delta as a lead. Now they are best of pals and they are becoming inseparable around the stable and on the track. I hope some of her class and talent rub off on my little boy.
Chappy is pony sized, but he sticks his head out there like he means business and relishes the Tapeta.
We are hopeful of a good performance.
He has run second in both of his starts this season and is our only 3yo to have raced that has not won a feature race. We are loaded this season.
