Know the feeling, BUT at least there are some people out there trying to make a differance

As bad as it sounds, it is unfortunately true, Africa is not a place for sissies( don't know how I am gonna explain that to my grand child in NZ)

Spot

Spot is a 10 year old black gelding who stands at a height of 11hh. He is a very sweet little equine with a super nature that is easy to handle and work with. Spot will make an ideal lead-rein pony.


Twinkle

Twinkle Toes is a 14.2 hh 4year old Chestnut mare who makes a super little mare with a fantastic temperament. She is easy to handle and work with from the ground with lovely conformation and no vices.

Justica

Justica is a 3 year old bay thoroughbred mare who displays gorgeous movement and is well put together standing at a height of 15.3 hh. She will learn quickly is very willing and very well-bred. She is by Caesour out of Middle East who is by Al Mufti.



High Waters
High Waters is a bay thoroughbred gelding who stands at a height of 16.2hh. He has been off the track for a year but he moves well and is nicely conformed. High Waters will make a great all round horse. He is by Indigo Magic out of Lady Alexis who is by Goldmark.

A few trainers donate their retired horses to the Horse Care Unit to rehome. Some of the TBs available to adopt are therefore not rescues as such.
I help to rehome horses once they retire from the track, and it's not an easy task to find loving and trustworthy homes. I totally believe that if a trustworthy home cannot be found, humane euthenasia definitely is the answer. At least you can sleep at night knowing where your horse is.
