Sorry Titch
You are wrong.
The 300k you are referring to, is the price that breeders Greg Royden-Turner had paid for the filly at a dispersal sale in July 2010 held at Yellow Star Stud in Mooi River.
The original purchase price in 2008 as a yearling was 2.8 million. ( the Brown stable can confirm)

I am trying to dig up a Winning Form dated around 10 April 2009.
If you are right, then there was another filly in the same race with a price tag of 2.8mil
Maybe Matthew Lips could get info for us.

Lubricator was pricey if i remember correctly. I watched this horse being sold on TV and thought this is a nice horse and still thought if I had bombs I would buy it.Needless to say I have never had those thoughts or ever watched a sale again!

Unfortunately the Sire is not yet proven. Needs to cover a few more mares to prove himself.

Justin V, to answer your question. I had shares in 50G filly, won both GR 1 & GR 2
The other cost 120 G colt, won a GR1 the same year...... 2006
I've had run of the mill horses since, but thats racing...... can't have good horses all the time.

That is because you and Frodo chased after the mismatched sibling to the better bred filly, not the sire squire but the correct sire... the colt by RMG all wrong...she was awesome and you guys were blessed and truely deserved what she accomplished....where is she now????

Not sure what you mean 'chased after the mismatched sibling' - I liked her female line and what Count Dubois brought to it - the RMG colt came after AS - who is in Aus having just had her first yearling on sale over there- don't know what it went for
