Would you like to be a referee in the premier league????

After all the eratic decisions given in the EPL/Cup games, the focus has been focused firmly on the referees giving bad calls. We have the replays to see and we can critisize accordingly. What bothers me is that week after week debates are going on about incorrect decisions given, but still no tv replays are considered.I think its time to take the blinkers off,and correct this huge headache.

WHAT? Are you crazy to even suggest something so stupid. Alex Ferguson will never allow that to happen. How on earth are Man United going to win the Premiership with TV referrals? Man United wont even finish in the top 6 if that were to happen. You will have to come up with something else Zoro.

Another ridiculous anti-Man U comment C n C. And it is Sir Alex Ferguson to you. Cole 3-2 X(
Zoro for all the talk about technology in football, I just can't see how it can be good for the game, especially in England where the pace of the game is so quick. Just taking a couple of examples... at what point do you stop the game and ask for technology to prove the ball had crossed the line, what if the ball does not go out of play for another minute? What if you just refer it and let the game go on and then 2 minutes later take the game back and say it was really a goal? And when is a penalty not a penalty, it is believed that there was illegal contact for both Ashley Young pens in the last week or so but that he went over theatrically, the point is if he hadn't gone over theatrically would the pens have been given? Probably not. By the letter of the law, should they have been given. Probably yes. Would technology have therefore affected the original decision? Probably not. Do I like what Ashley Young does? No. Is he cheating? No. Can I appreciate why and the "cleverness" of it? Yes. Players play for pens in every match, am I going to crucify a guy who does it better than many of the others? No. Same way a defender fouls "cleverly" in every match and gets away with it, we don't scream at them for stretching the letter of the law, we just accept it and move on. Gary Neville in his book admits to falling at the slightest contact if he thought he was about to be beaten to a header which might result in a goal in the hope the ref would blow for a foul. There are two sides to the coin, its not just strikers looking for pens, its defenders looking to prevent goals... so how much of the game do you really want technology to check?
We love football partly for the speed at which it is played, technology will change that forever. Lastly, look at the controversy over various aspects of the technology they have brought into cricket, a comparatively much slower game and then ask yourself, do I really want that in football? I would be much happier having the game I love as the game I love and I'll take the good and bad luck that comes with it. Now, improving the standard of referees... I'm all for that.

What you write has no effect on me CnC other than making me laugh occasionally at your sad attempts to constantly have a go at the club who you seem obsessively jealous of. And/or if you say something I personally consider ott I will say so, as I would to anyone else and as I would hope they would also say to me. Only 3 minutes of the day to go but as always I'll do my best to enjoy them, this will help... Cole 3-2 X( Hope you have a good day tomorrow >:D<

And more importantly what would happen, while the officials were reviewing the replay, if another goal was scored by either team? Does the 2nd goal stand if the 1st goal is disallowed? A recipe for a riot.

Englander you have to be joking if you think Ashley Young is being clever,he is like one of ours Drogba a cheat.
Im afraid that Ashley is now a marked man,you wait and see when he gets refused a cast iron pen.
He was the same at watford never fell over until he was in the box,my 11 year old plays at one of the
academies and he watches football all the time on sky and i try to explain some of these players actions,
and thank god he's coach is strong on falling over with minimal contact..
You have two extremes at Man Utd, Ashley Young and Ryan Giggs..Giggs only cheats on he's wife, but on
the pitch he is as honest as they come...
Ashley Young goes down quicker than Katie Price..
