striker normally likes to see which is the best weighted horse in the july with form and then phones for the ride....case in point ANGUS...MADE IT A GOOD THING 2 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE JULY..this is his kinda horse...hope he gets the ride..with about 53 kg to carry...pity about the price..really fancied it to speculate with at around 50/1...oh well now to find some doubles with it

this is a serious race horse. The run behind Polar Bound was VERY eyecatching.....a distance way short of his best. When going over further, Polar Bound will have zero chance against this one. My prediction......Taipan will bag one of the bigger races this Durban season
