Am I over zelous in saying that tipsters as a 'sure fire reliable' rocket to success is an illusion and a figment of a fools imagination?
... hold on..... what's that???...
Oh sorry boys.... you need to structure your bets... that is why its not a rocket to success...
So although you get tips it is actually up to you to structure those bets to be able to show a profit......
So tipsters are a guide. Well that sounds reasonable...
So even if I show you how to use form lines, or find a banker for a PA..or show you how sportingpost jockey/trainer percentages might show a winner.. or sell you crocodile oil ... well hope springs eternal silly... till you broke..
The proverbial Snake Oil Salesman has been around for Centuries -perhaps eons. And they still exist today. Do we blame them for their odious acts - or blame ourselves for being foolish enough to listen to them?

Some of you don't like, but I 'm afraid the game is competitive.
In addition there is no such thing as national specifications for tipsters, which is a great pity.
We have national specifications for biro pens, also for light bulbs.
The biro companies try to cheat and with summer coming soon, those biros start drying up the moment you buy them from the corner shop.
But in the case of tipsters, or "horse racing prognostication" as the department of commerce might be expected to name it, we have nothing.

Some years ago met Professor Leighton Vaughn-Williams who runs the Betting Research Unit at Nottingham Trent University…they monitored / reviewed ‘professional tipster’ performances. He reckoned then that PRICEWISE was about as good as you get.
Mark Cotton, the first PRICEWISE, wrote about his ‘devastating sequence of 49 losers’…this following his best ever year.
In UK there are black-market agents who ‘subscribe / collect’ tips from the best and usually most expensive tipsters around then sell this information on.

Used to know of one but I forgot his name.
Here it explains how this is being done:

Sorry, but just had to post it:D
PICK-6 WE FANCIED PAYS R62,100.40!
Fairview 11 May:
WHAT I SAID IN MY RACECARD SUMMARY:
"The Bonus Pick-6 is worth a try today, the banker is the Gavin Smith 4-way coupling in the first leg, the 4 horse coupling is a preferred as a Pick-6 banker to the top bet as I do think one of his horses will win the race. The Place Accumulator and Jackpot bets are also worth playing, and the Bonus perms preferred as well, but my favourite is the Bonus Pick-6."
RESULT:
Fairview 11 May:
• The Whisperer's R2880 Bonus Pick-6 returned R62,100.40!
• The Whisperer's R960 Bonus Place Accumulator returned R5347.80!
• The Whisperer's R288 Place Accumulator returned R1188.40!
And NO, I don't subscribe and won nothing today

NOPE.maybe for u bt not for me!!!i DONT look what the 'tipster' tips and i dont read any race comments of a race BEFORE i havent studied for myself!!!This way im purely working out the race as i see it,not with 'this trainer/jockey said this horse will win' in the back of my mind.Only afterwards IF i got time will i read what the tipster wrote abt race comments or maybe playback USO and listen what the trainers say abt their horses. If they agree with me fine,if not THAT IS THEIR OPINION EVEN IF its THEIR horses!!WHAT I THINK COUNTS MOST for me!!!!

Everyone has an occasional good day. That's 5/1 on pa and 20/1 on pick 6. So you must have a win like this every 20 hits for pick 6 to break even and one every 5 for the PA.
I promise you that you never hear from these tipsters till they have a good day. Then they broadcast their success and have a fresh batch of suckers to bleed till they too tire and retreat...
Snake oil salesman.... selling the elusive undefinable phantom...to t*ts like me

Agreed. Fair point.
But you get much more value with a computer form than 1 2 3 4th choices.
A forum like this offers much more value than a single tipster.
