The other question is, did john freeman manipulate the outcome of a race to show that theres transformation in racing?

Lets look at it like this

I take a 1st timer to the bookies, show him the card, explain form study, hw he needs to watch a horses action etc, then he sees my log into ABC to check what the clan fancies,we come across this thread which clearly states that one person said that that person had to win the race

Now this novice asks me why im bullshitting him about studying form if they already planned who needs to win the race?

So whats the novices perception of racing?

CROOKED

Sporting Post carries a report of a groom's protest in Cape Town last week. I'm quite sure that this was the scenario that John Freeman was trying to avoid, what with all the negative publicity S.A. horseracing has been getting lately.Louis, your stance is a step in the right direction and the suggestion of inc. the names of grooms in the racecard is brilliant! Of course he must be able 2 read firstly, but imagine how proud the groom's got 2 be 2 see his name in print next the horse he looks after.

I dont get the "manipulated"part, in terms of the result. Are we saying that the rest oif the field were "no good"now. ..????

My filly was carded with Chase as the rider, on debut, about a month ago. When I noticed that Piere didnt have a ride, I asked him to ride her instead of Chase, as I rate her and needed top feedback, from Piere specifically, FOR A GOOD REASON. That's how this yard works, all in the team understand this. Anyway, the filly ran 17 lengths behind, green as can be. (her next start, very recently, was much, much better).

Now, how was I manipulating the race or the result? So, my change was OK, because no black rider was involved?

As long as John had a GOOD REASON for his alleged call to Justin and Justin saw GOOD REASON for the change, then let it be.

The horse was favourite. It WON, FFS!

So where is the problem?

Rob, so we agree to disagree. No problem.

All that I see is a BLACK rider as being the issue. Any other jock changes are OK, as long as a BLACK rider is not involved.

So, yes, my not being a brain surgeon limits my thinking. .......:S
