Soccer13 syndicate week 2

for my money, Portugal, Ireland and Turkey are bankers. Switzerland at home not so easy for Germany.

My own selection would be to banker Spain, Netherlands and Portugal.
I'd back Turkey, Germany and Osters up with the draw and go field in the rest.
That would cost 17496*1.2 = R20995.

To get a decent payout, I'd be looking for Jonkoping Sodra and Trelleborg (both around 6/10 favourites) to get rolled, and for some of the other favourites not to win.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Solo, but I'm certainly no punting expert especially with soccer and have little to no experience with big syndicates or perms.

I think this round will be more interesting since there are teams we are more familiar with.

I like this structure as well. Even as Greg says we are not sure how strong a team Spain, Netherlands and Portugal are putting out even their second or third team should win especially at home.

Turkey, Germany and Osters I also like with the draw so would go exactly the same as Sabre's structure and hope for upsets in the other games. (tu)

Solo, ask admin to remove last week soccer 13 thread as there are now 3 treads people are writing on.

As this the newest here is my input
i am fine that you use a panel to do the selections, you can make your decisions as you like

but i have only one request,
i saw there are suggestions that we banker a team in the last leg, for me that is a no because if a team's chances are so strong that you want to banker it, isn't that the team you want to beat or get draw because if everyone else bankers and you have the "field" that would be better for payout.
My suggestion is to put ion the "fields" for the last to games so that if we survive bankers , bankers that get beat and a few unfancied teams coming in you do not want to lose because of a banker that get rolled.

JB, I see your point but the bottom line is... Baners are bankers are bankers no matter where in the perm they appear. If the last game has the best prospect for a baner....{shrug}

i agree with Magi if you like them you banker them wherever ! That changes if you are able to cover you stake if you know what the divedend will be .
