Hi Flash, just checked, but they give results for Soccer 4 - Soccer 10, but nothing for Soccer 13, so i don't anybody won, maybe some consolation prizes and that is not much....here is the payout table
All 13 correct = 40% of pool
Average payout R1.98 million
Any 12 correct = 12% of pool
Average payout R9,000
Any 11 correct = 15% of pool
Average payout R485
Any 10 correct = 25% of pool
Average payout R110
NOTE: Other 8% of pool goes to guarantee R10 million payout in event of only one winner

In this day and age with all that is available to us regarding betting my suggestion is as follows:
1:Turn the pick 13 in to a pick 12 BY bankering the Fav result in the last match (time wise) if possible. This will afford the syndIcate members an option to LAY or in SA back the other 2 results to at least recoup stakes.
2: look at "value" bankers as opposed to "obvious bankers. What i mean by this is its pointless bankering the 4 hottest results and then "hoping" for roughies to come. I think you better off bankering DRAWS.
so my play would be along these lines
2x2x2x2x2x1/2x1/2x1/2xfxfxfxfxBanker
obviously NOT in that order (EXCEPT BANKER).
If something like this happens then i am in.
If you insist on going down the 4 bankers route i reckon you better off taking an ATC those 4 bankers

All matches are being played on Saturday, the 4 Swedish League Matches kick off at 16H00 along with Ireland (Only mentioning home team). Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Poland kick off at 18H00. These 9 matches will be completed before the final 4 kick off with Greece at 19H30, Finland and Holland at 20H00 and the final game being the Norway game at 20H45.
Looking at it quickly leaving the 4 Swedish Games, Portugal will have to play terribly not to beat Macedonia. Spain should have too much fire power for Serbia at home. These are the two early games, Holland should beat Belgium in the late kick off match and then go 3 fields in the other 3 late games and at the odds Holland are it would take a small bet to cover the Draw and Belgium.
Maybe we could look at a 3 Banker and 3 by 2 selections route?
I have not looked at the Swedish matches to me but for me the 3 bankers (unfortunately not value) are Spain, Portugal and Holland and then look at 3 games starting before at 18H00 or before.
My 2 Cents worth and I will take up my share again.

I'm certainly keen to try again, though I would prefer if we didn't raise the cost much. One ticket at around R240 is about all I can manage, especially if we do this regularly.
As for structure, I prefer to look at each match individually. That doesn't really work in a syndicate situation where everyone has different views.
It's likely just a fluke but my suggestions in the other thread scored 12/13 with the following perm:
1/2 * 1/2 * F * F * F * 1 * 3 * F * F * 1 * 1/2 * F * 2/3 => 11664 combinations = R13997.
So that was 3 bankers, 6 fields, and 4 with two results but still a POOR bet considering the return of only R7776.
Looking back at my original selections when we were asked to give 6 bankers, I chose 4 home sides and 2 away sides. It was the 2 away sides that won (one was the outsider, not the favourite) and only one of the home sides.
The real upset was Hacken not winning. Most of us had that as our banker. Looking at it again, the one thing that stands out is that their opponents had a pretty decent record of not being beaten in recent matches.
One thing to consider when getting consensus views to make the perm is that the more opinions you get, the more likely it is that favourites will become the consensus choice. I had noted that there were 7 odds-on favourites last week and only 3 of them (Vasby, Lunds and AIK) won. To have a chance of hitting a really big payout, we need to allow for at least 2 or 3 short-priced home favourites being beaten.

you guys make very good sense .
i strongly feel that when someone has a very strong opinion on a game his view should be given serious thought and be considered as part of the play . AGRA was preaching the draw with Mjalby and Shrek and Sabre where on about Syrianska causing an upset .
I think using a system of nominating 4 or 6 selections and then going for the most voted ones will almost always lead to the shortest price teams being selected. which to me is like parrot play and sure it could work but inevitably these hot teams do get beat .
i think the structure should be flexible but not over the R24k outlay which is already huge .Remember there are times when it pays peanuts .
the advantage of sticking to a set play ie 4 bankers 9 fields or 3 bankers 3 dc and 7 fields is that on occasion when it may look easier , when sticking to set structures you are catering for upsets where results may seem obvious . And when those upsets pop up it pays bombs . I like Easy's idea of a banker in the last or a double chance with a view to laying or baking to cover our outlay . The problem is , do we have accsess to payouts going into the final leg ?
Maybe we should get say 4 volunteers out of all the syndicate members (if there are more i can pick the list of four ) who whilst considering the selections and opinions of the remaining members have the final say when structuring the perm .
From what i have observed this week Shrek and Sabre are fairly knowledgeable and so too Naresh reading his post on last weeks selections . Two of the four could change on a weekly bases with say Shrek and Sabre remaining with 2 fresh eyes coming in or those four could stay on again .
I'm just trying to think lobsided . I think if we don't catch this thing after say five attempts (on a R24k budget)
then its a hopeless exercise and is not worth persuing .
