Saldiani I think that 1200m's a bit beyond Marius.... from my morning preview...
Race 7: Fall of Troy appears to have everything going for it except the draw but I would not be rushing out to back this one. It’s maiden win was easy and over this C&D but it beat a field of battlers that day. I am giving Marius one more chance although this 1200m’s does seem a bit beyond him. If shorter than 8/1 I will leave alone otherwise it goes in my E/W Patent. Others to consider are Jack Rock and Leprecorn’s Gift.

La Volta is the exacta horse for me - I also think that Altair is not out of it - I'd like to float La Volta with the field in boxed exacta - Perhaps also ttake the fixed place on La Volta

Well chosen Mr H.....
Race 8: Open race. La Volta appeals but may need the run but include in all exotics. Casa Nostra has consistent sand form and his only win was over C&D. If the going is on the outside he will go close.

Shot, all !
Good news is that the Manufacturer thinks that he could have those extra rollers ready in about 2 weeks time. So, the 40 min intervals will reduce pretty soon !

Wasn't following, but did see a few posters commenting on the kickback today?? ... There always seems to be some sort of problem on the Vaal sand??

Greg, I suppose that the Vaal Sand will always have those who love it and those who hate it. Ultimately, the going itself is very horse friendly, especially in Winter.
