Gerrit rode 5 winners at the 2 day meeting at the Busan track over the weekend including the Feature race winner on Saturday after being beaten a short head in the Friday feature race..

he was also "jocked off" Trade Mark for the July in 2001 after being beaten a short head in the Met..

yes i rem as i backed trademark at 12/1 only for stablemate bunter barlow with g hatt to beat him on the line.striker got mount on trademark and won july and that was the end of gerrits long association with m bass stable.

Ironically Gerrit rode Bunter Barlow in the July and finished down field :(

Every now and again as a punter you just don't hit it off with a jockey. I would always lose my races at the jump with poor Schlecter and just gave up in the end.
