RUGBY 5 BET...

...Small pool i see R70K including a 30 carryover... Is this bet a failure?

Greg you as a major contributor to ABC should get his own column. Once a week, either at the beginning or the end you should write up your thoughts of whats going to happen or whats happened. As you are attracting many a read to your posts I think that its an opportunity for ABC to get more hits.

I put on a R240 perm every week. Looking at the pools it does seem to be doing poorly as it looks like the same people put the bets on every week as even with a carryover the pool is similar to last week.

Interesting Shrek, the reason I asked cause the soccer 6 has pools that average 400k ....what the payouts like with the rugby 5??

Greg I could be wrong but I recon the R10 a line puts a lot of people off. When asking guys if they play it the say it works out too expensive and would rather back what the fancy with the bookie and know what they are getting back. If they made it R2 or R5 a line it would be more popular. Just my thoughts.
