I wouldn't go that far (saying he's mad) - but Ziets maybe you can elaborate on what you base the statement on - is there some obscure formline somewhere that the rest of the world has missed?
Also it would help of some of our well-informed 'knights of the pen/pencil/word-processor' (hesitant to call them 'racing journalists') could find out from Vaughn Marshall whether he has any intention of running Tribal Dance (and for that matter Top Seller and Tales of Bravery) in the July, as their have been conflicting 'reports' on this site as to which horse(s) will represent the Marshall stable in the July.
And even if we get confirmation, I'm not sure there if there is any reason to believe that any of them could beat Jackson (especially after ToB very disappointong effort behind Variety Club)

Hi Zietsman
Politician Stakes: Jackson beat Tribal Dance by 2.75 lengths over 1800m with 3kg more than Tribal Dance meaning he is 5.6 lengths better over 1800m than Tribal Dance on level weights.
Cape Derby: Jackson beat Tribal Dance by 5.75 lengths over 2000m on level weights.
Tribal Dance is not better than Jackson the further they go.
If we presume that Jackson is still 5.75 lengths (and it could be much more since Jackson only needed to win) better than Tribal Dance over 2200m, Tribal Dance needs to run with 4.5kg less than Jackson only to get next to him. With the July weights and Cape Derby form Jackson already beat Tribal Dance with 1.3 lengths and I think that you cannot compare form through Variety Club since he is a miler and Jackson is not a miler.

....this is definitely a lurker....has got the type of pedigree and the ability to travel in a horse box to pinch a lowely Group race to give him a stab at the bigtime....under my tribute to his late owner I commented in that a man's life passion comes good after he has gone....I was hinting at this shrewd campagner and I would take what Bonski says with a pinch of salt....he after all has tipped more scratchings than any other on air presenter....:S

I think Jakson and Variety Club have improved so much more than any other colts this term - Not knowing the score on the Cape worktracks I was a non-believer - I'm now convinced that Jackson is the best three-year-old colt that i've seen since Dynasty - Variety Club is a super horse too but Tribal Dance is just a good horse in a very strong crop - The only wat Tribal could beat Jackson by six lengths is if Jackson gave him 20 lengths start!!

I would run Tribal Dance close if i started at the 400 and he started at the 2200M mark. Unless the author has more than two houses in his name, let him feel free to do as he will!

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Does this horse still have a chance in the July field, or have I done my money? I see that his name is not on the betting sheets anymore:S
