I have been fortunate to have witnessed many July Gallops.
The atmosphere is very great, not forgetting the coffee / buns which is definitely needed in the cold morning.
It gives one the feel for your fancy and you can see how fit the horse is just before the big race, although it is just a gallop.
Lots of punters attend this event, therefore it was brought back by punter demand.
You have to attend to enjoy and experience the feeling and vibes.
There is always a panel discussion, which is always interseting to listen to.
