If the bookies had Jackson as favourite from day one and he shortened after the draw and then goes on to post the best time in
the gallops , surely he must be the right horse !

My only fear is Mike De Kock who knows how to control the pace in these big races which then has to bring in Gorongosa and Ilha Bela ( both for Mary Slack ) and Vettel ( Jooste )
with both of his strike jockeys and champion jockey Marcus on these horses they must have a big shout !

I reckon Jackson is the best horse in the field but it has to be said that realtively speaking Karis Teetan with a poor draw against Anton Marcus , Anthony Delpech , Kevin Shea , Piere Strydom and the other top jocks lined up make it a tough task at the price of 16/10

Lets hope the old saying that the cream always rises to the top applies and Jacksons class get him the July - on merit he deserves the win after taking the Cape Derby and the Daily News in his stride

Good Luck Brett Crawford for believing in the horse and sticking with young Teetan !
