Just my opinion, and I know a lot of guys like him on this Board, but Smit is a poor commentator. Do you know how many times a FAVOURITE has "found a gap on the rail and is running on strongly", or "has found daylight on the outside and is in the clear and coming home strongly" and his favourite saying "has a clear run on the outside and is picking them off one by one" only for the favourite to run out of the TOP SIX...go back and check...
When Malherbe says a horse is is in the clear and its coming home strongly, or has found a gap on the rail and is running on strongly, it wins or runs second.
It's just an opinion guys...

I thought I made huge money today. Smit called Rain Gal 3rd in the 7th.
Thought I caught the PA with the 3 in the last leg. I had 4 horses in that race.
Expected to see a 6 figure amount in HW.
Shocked to see only my balance reflected.
I am told that he didnot see a horse (Susanna) on the outside.
I could drink a bottle right now.
