I follow Tennis but never played it at any level other than social.My question is "If you have a roof and there is a very good chance you will have to use it through light or rain,why would you not start with it closed to keep the consistency?"
It has now started raining and they are talking about leaving it open and gambling that the rain delay/s will be minimal.
Can somebody who understands tournament tennis offer some kind of logic...........I can't understand the reluctance to use the roof you paid millions to install!

Haven't seen the Fed make so many errors in a long time. Murray is killing Fed in the rallies and the Fed is trying to end all the points very quickly so he's making plenty mistakes.

They keep on using the excuse that it`s an outside tournament

What emotion a classic Wimbledon final. I really feel for Murray and his family he seems distraught. Well done Roger the greatest Champion to pick up a tennis racket.

The great thing was that Murray did not choke in any way ........his BMT held up superbly - well done to him........Federer was just brilliant on the day!

I know Tennis is a game for snobs and girls,but really starting to think that the top tennis pros are some of the greatest sportsmen on the planet... PS i took loads more bets on todays final than i did on yesterdays eclipse
