Scotia on Friday the 13th.

Good day to the Clan and hope nobody is suffering from friggatriskaidekaphobia?
Well must say really enjoyed our July trip and the visit to Summerhill stud last weekend, pics are on the site.
Senor Santa
One thing for sure big days come and go but we are never short of new punting opportunities whether it be horseracing or sport even if the weather is miserable.
We had some wonderful press via Sporting Post and would again like to thank you all for your contributions towards our growth and thanks for the numerous compliments........sportingpost article
Some other posts include.....
Variety Club?
Gold Cup Entries.............sponsored by Ladbrokes
BEE consortium bids for Greyville?
I`ll Have Another- NY Times
Plus many more racing and sporting topics
I will be attempting to get some money back from What a Winter this weekend and a bit 28/10 should be a decent bet if back to best.
What a Winter
The rugby going strong (except the Bulls) and Garrick will keep us on the right track on where we should place our money between Crusaders, Chiefs and Stormers.....link
We will soon have the EPL back and the bookies would appear to make it a Manchester match race City 12/10 and United 5/2.
I cant wait for the Olympics, especially the athletics and have seen some decent prices on Bolt "8/10" for the 100mt, have been trying to get a few doubles, trebles etc with Bolt, Bolt and Jamaica for the sprints and the USA in the 4x400 to pay the tax, but you will find a few restrictions with your turf consultants on "same bet criteria" so check the odds.
Usain Bolt
Back to racing, not much movement on the ante post markets and Frankel still around 1/10 for the Sussex on the 1st of August at Goodwood. Glasgow Rangers will find out their final destination today but Celtic could be shorter than Frankel?
Camelot will probably go for the St Leger (Doncaster 15th Sept) and the 11/20 could be a great price? but bad weather might lead to it being scratched over the distance in heavy going considering the ARC on the 7th Oct, so the triple crown, or the Arc, or possibly both? Camelot is 9/2 for the greatest race on the planet.
Its back to Ascot on 21st July for the KG and QE stakes and St Nicholas Abbey still tops the boards at 28/10, Sea Moon 7/2 and Nathaniel 4/1, should be a cracker.
I did enjoy the following story and tried to do a spell check but gave me a "heed ache" so its the original.
Boaby & Davy, Conjoined Scottish Twins
An on duty Gendarme spots a hire car approaching the Champs Elysees
with a rear light out. He beckons the driver to pull over, which he does
and winds his window down. The Officer has a good look inside the car
and notices that the driver and passenger are conjoined twins.
Instead of making an issue over the light out situation he begins to
engage in some friendly chat.
Gendarme: Ah, you are on holiday my friends?
Davy: Aye, that's right, big yin. We've been coming every September
weekend for the last 9 years.
Gendarme: So I guess you come to France to get away from ze rainy
weather you have in Ecosse?
Davy: Naw, it nearly always pishes doon when we come here. Your
weather's nae better than oors, in't that right Boaby?
Boaby: Aye.
Gendarme: Zen I take it you are here to enjoy our delicious French
food, very healthy.
Davy: Naw, yer food's mingin, big man, everything reeks of garlic.
We've brought a box full of pieces to avoid eating your shite.
Gendarme: Zen you must be here to drink our famous wines and cognac, surely.
Davy: Yer swally's boggin, we've hid tae bring a kerry oot. In't that
right , Boaby?
Boaby: Aye.
Gendarme: (by now ever so slightly bemused): Well in that case you must
be here to see the Parisienne madamoiselles, ze most beautiful women in
Europe .
Davy: Yer kiddin in't ye! The burds here are dugs, ah widnae touch them
wae a ten fit pole big yin.
Gendarme: (by now rather irate): Zen why do you people come to our
country if everysing ees so bad?
Boaby: It's the only chance 'oor Davy gets tae drive
Have a great weekend and may your God be with you
Good punting
