Just spent he last 2 hours searching and reading about contract packages and call rates.
there are some interesting comparisons.
Cell C comes up trumps and their coverage is improving.
400min (per sec) 400 sms 400 (whatever0 for internet R400.00
Thoughts from Cell-c users. ? Any issues?

Thanks for ths advice FC
Hibs - Fact. The "gorilla glass" on mine scratched. Supposed to be unscratchable. Even though I am in insurance, I am loathe to insure a cellphone. The amount spent on insurance over two year can generally buy a semi decent phone. Bottom of the range Blackberry or the like. I have a Blackberry Curve in the cupboard for eventualites such as a phone in the dogs water bowl etc. (Happened to the misus). We upgrade every two year anyway so insurance is out for me personally. (this is not advice just my personal preference). This being said my dear Ruby chucked it on the floor and the screen cracked (R1750) to replace. I thought t was a bit rough but when they gave me the old part back I understood why. Alot of componentry and technology in the screen. It was a few months old so I went for the repair rather than the Blackberry n the cupboard. It worked against me this time, but if I look at what it would have cost me insurance for the time I have used cellphones, I am still on the upside. My persoanl risk management approach to cellphones.
Agra - Depends where you are in the country. Cell C re still piggy backing off Vodacom infrastucture in some areas. A mate of mine cant get Cell C signal properly in our area for instance. Vodacom is problematic in my house for instance - no signal but MTN users are fine in my house. I have heard that MTN is ropey in certain areas. And I ask myself what do we pay so much for?

If the phones really were 'smart' then wouldn't they drop the call as soon as you connected with any betting site? Lol.

Got an Iphone 4s but the tech geeks at work tell me the S3 Samsung Galaxy is streets ahead of anything else on the market.
Biggest stuff up on the Iphone is battery life, the S3 lasts longer.
What does it all cost in SA for Iphone/Samsung contract plus mins and data. In the UK you pay around £30-£40 a month with all the minutes and data you'll need.
