What's the best smart phone?

I'm thinking of spoiling myself and getting rid of my antiquated cellphone and getting a smart phone. Anyone have a model they like and can recommend?

I have a Galaxy SII. Full browser funcionalty and all the bells and whistles. Good phone but crap battery life if you leave the 3G and all the apps etc running.
Just a warning about smart phones; they are the cellphone operators best friends. If the 3G is on it will update apps software etc and climb into your cellphone bill. Rand per meg cost. My first months bill was R900.00 (mostly data). To get around this turn the 3g off until you need it or buy a data bundle each monthly.
The Nokia Lunia's look good, but reckon they are all pretty much the same thing.

Your phone should have a page setting that asks you whether you want...text...images or all.
Set it at text and you wont use as much data...you can change it wheneva.

The Galaxy S11 is by far the best I have had, but we don't have the MGB bundle issues that you guys have. We pay approximately $5 per month and you have unlimited download capabilities. Only problem is battery life but you just have to exit out of applications and you will be fine.

The way to go....Magi.
Cannot wait another 2 months for my upgrade.
Stay away from the Nokia and BB.
Both companies in big kak.
If it wasn't for the BBM, Blackberry would hv been liquidated by now.
As it stands now, they are talking to Sony for a possible merger.
They are hoping that the BB10 due to be released in April would take the company out of trouble.........that might be too late though, as Apple and Samsung are way ahead of the pack.
