As far as I am concerned was just tactics to get a better draw etc, much the same as the cyclists try for their team mates.

Have not read the entire story and background, did they lay themselves on Betfair?

You wouldnae be happy if you had punted all the short ones in an accy? too many reasons why they had to try and win..

No ,not the same , One is Helping a team leader win the other is losing on purpose .
