Has always been my bet on United CnC, do nearly every game 5 zip, whether it be home to Norwich or away to Barcelona... but I am not a big staker remember, a few quid here and there and maybe a five on United... now what are the revised odds on England to win the test, got to be 33s plus... :S

Btw, where do you get the impression that we all still talk of the 66 WCF and think we are the world's best... I can't remember anyone thinking we were going to win the EC or WC for 30 odd years... and I never talk about 66, was only one at the time, or nearly one actually

remember I live in the uk, The ITV football commentators, the Daily Mail, John Motson and on occasion the guys on Sky. Whenever England are about to embark on a world cup they are in it to win it. This was the Suns front page headline when the 2010 group stages were drawn and I quote

im so glad the premier league has started and with all the funny results this weekend its easy to see why its the best league in the world.even the smaller teams can and do compete with the big boys.
monday night we will see this seasons champions in action and im am almost tempted to take a bet that they will put 4 or 5 past everton with valencia tormenting the everton defense.

Not sure Valencia will start Winzip, at least in an attacking role... definitely a possibility but will be interested to see the line-up.

I never notice CnC, but your average man like me has become increasingly depressed by the state of our football, I never expect to win, I always have hope but it is usually a very feint hope. That said, as I mentioned on the cricket thread, no point supporting if you are not going to believe. As for The Sun, if you read that bolox you shouldn't be expecting much else! lol the reality is, same as I say about the Champions League, underestimate any team these days at your peril.

i definately do not read the sun but i do read the times on line and enjoy watching the newspaper reviews on sky and bbc. When its shoved in your face its not too difficult to miss.
