the Everton win over Man United proves to us that this season is going to be hot.

Boxed trifecta this year..
Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd - only a question of in which order. A country mile back to fourth.

It's early but might be a bit more open than forecasted by the odds makers?

this weeks fixtures
now that the appetite has been wetted the matches cant come around quick enough
On Wednesday Chelsea host Reading (trust you will be there Dave as I hope that you are not a sofa fan)
Chelsea should win comfortably
Saturday
Swansea take on West Ham in the lunch time kick off and I can nly see one winner here and thats Swansea by 3 at least after their demolition of QPR on Saturday
Aston Villa take on Man United conquerors Everton. A win for Everton here.
Norwich City v QPR. Both sides were humped 5-0 in their first game. A draw???
Sunderland v Reading. Sunderland are not too bad at home and I suspect that they will win
Man United v Fulham. Fulham dont ever perform at OT and I think that United will get their 3 points.
Spurs v WBA. Spurs at home are a different proposition and although WBA thrashed the usless Liverpool I think that Spurs will win
Southampton v Wigan. The manner in which Southampton approached their match against Man City suggests that they will attack Wigan and history tells us that Wigan always have a crap start to the season so a Saints win here
Chelsea v Newcastle. Very difficault match to call. At the end of last season Newcastle beat them at the Bridge. A draw for me.
On Sunday Arsenal go to Stoke where a draw looks likely
The big match on Sunday is Liverpool v Man City. Man City to win with ease.

25s for 5-0 seems reasonable to me, Torres or Terry for small scorecasts

wow 2-1 to reading after 30 minutes. Could be the first big shock of the season
