Ou my mate did that but got caught as he left the bum sticking above the ground?
When the police questioned him, he says he did it so he could park his bike at night as they had stolen his car.

Self defense is not a motivating factor for acquiring a gun... believe it or not.
Suppose the debate is out there on gun ownership...

Owning guns makes you a bigger target for violent home invaders....the first thing they ask for is your gun.... Home invaders go for the weakest household members in an attack and if you are armed you are at risk of shooting
Your household members that become shields/hostages.....
Best weapon is the silent compact camping shovel....has more than one use

I was held up in a home invasion while house sitting in Bryanston in 1996.....5 short shit Mozambiquians and only one with a gun, a 38 special....they put it between my ex-girlfiends eyes and told me to lie down.....now I would have bet that it was empty and had it been against my head I would have seen right through the chambers...but did not take the chance.....they tied me up and placed me 3 feet from my trusty 9mm on the bed but under my gym bag.....long story short.....after ransacking the house they put the gun in the back of my head and asked me for my gun.....I said it was in my car with money plenty money.....when they left the house I went for my gun......my ex untied me and I ran out towards the car....they had stuck her car key in my car's door lock.....and did not stick around.....I saw them going over the lumber fence and I emptied a 16 shot clip at 50m.....missed all of them as I was tied up for 30min and had no circulation in my hands..... but getting off shots alerted a roving police car to the area.....I was grilled for 4 hours by these cops as why did I shoot..... simple, because I don't want them to come back.....they got away with my watch but dropped and smashed all the houshold goods when bullets started flying......they never shot back....no f@cking ammo....:
.....Had I not got to my gun I would be living in Ozz......nothing like semi-auto rapid fire and the smell of gunpowder to get your soul supercharged...... I have been involved with a fair bit of gunplay after that..... and even shot a Hijacker back in 2002....he lived.....and has served only 7 years......he said he was going to get me....I am waiting for him.....this time with the silent spade... it's lot less fuss.....

A gun is like a safety belt... The chances are that you will need it only once... Dont blow that only chance.....
