I was just thinking about the greatest trainers in south african racing history, and like most sports it is hard to compare different eras in the past trainers did not have the facilities of modern trainers and all the science of today, but when think about it for me the 3 best trainers of south african history have to be michael de kock, syd laird and terrence millard with their records I don't believe there were any better, mike is closing in on 100 grade 1 wins, which is phenomenal, the man is a genius! Which other trainers according to the clan desrves to be put in the great category? Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Good morning West, I am sure many would agree with your selections, I would mention to you we have a search facility on the site and if you use this you will find many similar comments on turf legends.
