Another Doyen of SA Racing makes an exit !

I notice that along with the horses being sold by the late Mr Eckstien's estate, Mr Muir is also selling all of his breeding stock. It has to be said that the exit of these racing greats is hardly being counter balanced with new younger owners.

See the catalouge on Micheal Holmes Bloodstock web-site. (Anyone want to form a syndicate to buy Top Seller - Summer Cup, Met, July and then Stud)

Many of our punters are, by the tone of the posts on this site, also unhappy with the way things are going. Without your support stakes will continue to stagnate or reduce and owning will be difficult for all but the supper rich. I don't have a problem with that but how many super rich youngsters are even the slightest bit interested in racing.

Even my positive attitude towards the sport is comming under a great deal of pressure, I need some help to turn the wheel.

HAS ANYONE GOT ANYTHING POSITIVE TO LIFT MY RACING SPIRIT?

Although my wife is quite open minded I don't think she would be happy to swing with a french couple after co mingling at a pool party, just to lift my spirits about SA racing. BUT I'll ask her !
