Top jock in my opinion but not getting great rides. 3 wins from last 100 starts would not have helped his confidence either.

Starting to have winners again. Still think he is a top jock for the future. I remember Craig Eudey singing his praises many moons ago.

JP van der Merwe is not losing confidence or feeling de-motivated. That I can assure you of. Infact, I think he is one of Phumelela's most valueable "employee's. He gets sent to various racing venues (by his so- called clueless agent hehe) and co-incidentally "sets" up Pick 6's by having winners on long shots. Is it by design? (mafia) lol Western Dane is the latest example... was it only me who found this horse not by using form-analysis...... was the favourite not a penalty kick? Yes he was but..... JP was asked to sit on this one
Takes me to Arlington on Monday, once again JP finds himself in the opening leg of the Pick 6, a trainer he doesn't mount for... what happens... JP arrives on a 35-1 ..... and slowly his winners accumulate
now 5 from 106 ... add the odds of that few wins... hell, its more than Strikers odds all 2gether
I'm finding their/not his modus operandi very predicteable and my bank manager is smiling.. so freakin obvious! *tisk *tisk
PS: JP ur a good horseman nonetheless..
