Surprised so many people willing to back horses int eh 1st with so many runners unraced. If there is anything i have learnt in my short punting career is do not get too involved in races with unraced horses.

Very true Richie... but, all I would say is, if you can find a reason to back one then you can often get very good value

I happen to agree, I remember a horse that ran for the A. Laird stable 1st run Pirate Girl 40/1, I placed R200.00 to win R10,000.00 and it won going away. I remember that there was a 12/10 favorite and a 2/1 second favorite. Funny old game this
