Huge congratulations to him... never been a big tennis fan but I do like to follow the Brits... strange thing is I saw very little on the sports pages and lost interest thinking he must have been knocked out early!! Bit disppointed to have missed it but still really pleased for him... a trier who wears his heart on his sleeve. Well done Andy, first Brit male to win a Grand Slam event in 76 years! X(

Most of SCOTLAND will be tired at work today great win for Andy and what a summer of sport Scotland has enjoyed with the olympics and other sports..

Considering we only have a population of 5M i think we won 7 gold Medals in london amazing when you think that we only have about 300 000 fit residents as the other 5m or so are either alchies or fat bastards..get it right up you the rest of the world...

There is a memorial plaque to William Wallace on the wall of St Barts, I was quite "touched" when coming across it one day strolling the streets of London. I accept you are Scottish Nationalist Bob and have great respect for your patriotism, I will however share in Andy "Braveheart" Murray's success as I do consider him a fellow countryman, albeit that he is from a different country -D
