i was on my way home from work on a bus..........couldnt believe it, so the first thing i did was put the TV on when i got home......and there's the news on TV with messages scrolling at the bottom of the screen.

I didn't have TV ... heard it first from an American friend who lived in the same town as me. She was in a total state with shock and rage.

Was in our offices at Gold Reef when a Project manager walked in the building and told us his wife informed him that a plane flew into one of the Twin towers. We thought it was a movie or a publicity stunt at first. Tried to log onto CNN to no avail.

Fashioned a bunny areal out of a coat hanger and watched on a small TV in the CEO's office.

The world would never be the same again..................

The Americans were sound asleep and allowed Al Kaida to take shape and form and strike.
If you toy with terror groups and allow them free space that's what will happen.
Two years before 9/11 there was Oklahoma - the home grown right wing terrorists did that.

....and i believe there is still a few al qaidas thats searching for the 40 virgins that were waiting for them when they die......they must be pissed off by bin laden by now,dont think he is leader where they are now,after he has been shot,then drowned in sea,i think they beating the shit out of him now....
