Nice one for helping more punters out of the game. Duke of Beaufort backed from 8-1 down to 6-1 at his latest run but finished 12 lengths back in his last run with nothing out of the ordinary reported from the vet (stipes report). His connections then confessed that he had had clods of earth in both eyes in that run....thanks for the information after the event and helping us punters make an informed decision on his ability for his next run.

Hibs, did not mean it to sound like connections' fault, however if I were the horse's owner, I'd have someone's head roll!!. Its disappointing when this kind of thing happens - and it is one of many such cases. Better systems will help, and everyone's acceptance of accountability!
Not good for racing's image on quite a few levels - the man in the street probably sees it as follows: a) wasn't punter's money bringing odds closer, so whose money did? and/or b) useless bunch not reporting issues that affect price further down the line when there was opportunity to do so and c) I did my tom again today due to information withheld (regardless of whose fault it is).
HOw can you expect your customers to trust your product if it keeps looking like for want of a better word, a conspiracy? Or a uselessness that your money is supporting?
Now imagine the same scenario in retail for instance - !!! boycot

nonetheless going to Durbanville today with a whole lot of racing virgins....public holiday here today and the course is putting out barbeque drums, weather looks good too.
