Thanks Louis, all those runners ring bells. I think Bad Influence from the Cape trained by the good Doctor Naude was the most interesting of that lot. Was a proven mud-lark and always came with a rattle down the Kenilwoth straight.

the longest winning punting sequence iv seen is darryl maree 264 winning days in a row...hard to beat that

Im sure All will be well and Fovs favorite had well over 120 runs apiece. What about William penn, maybe Titch can help out with this one, think he raced till .12, not sure about the no. Of runs because he did have a 4yr break if memory serves me right.

I wonder why horses could run 100+ races but nowadays some battle to pass 10 runs. Is it the inbreeding, or what could it be/

kitty William Penn has the the undisputed record of having returning from a spell at stud and ran in a feature race on the same card as one of his sons (Just William) who ran in the 1st race on the day

Yes but he was not with Buddy but his father - Robert - He ran at around the same time as This England - Robert would always say horses want to run - If more trainers gave that a try we'd have less injuries and happier horses.
