It is on the site but Nico requested a separate thread as he felt his thanks might have been lost amongst all the posts.

I hope that you are keeping well. Please allow me the opportunity through
you of responding to your clansmen and women.

I want to sincerely thank all of you for your messages of goodwill and
support through a very tough time for me and my family recently. Without
going into my hospitalisation too much, I was fighting not only a virus
which had overcome my body but a bad stomach bug picked up in hospital. I
probably did not realise just how sick I really was but it is support from
people like the African Betting Clan members that made me pull through this
ordeal. I returned home midweek and plan to return to work very soon. Thank
you to all of you. It lifted my spirits whilst I was down.
