Hollywood/and others - Check your accounts/results...know their rules

A friend of mine was so disgusted with himself yesterday saying to me "done my tom in cold blood again". Now he is not a big punter(which is actually of no relevance) so I laughed and asked him why. He says he took a bet on Kieswetter to be top batsman and he did not play so he loses his money. Now as a punter myself and just a logical human being that did not seem right. He said he is sure as in a previous game on Sehwag, who got left out the starting eleven, it also happened and he phone customer service at Hollywood. They told him it was a losing bet.
My friend then took me into his account and sure enough, they were deemed losing bets.

Now, Hollywood how do your customer service staff not know the rules when it is written in your rules that a bet on a top batsman will be void if he is not in the starting eleven. I know anyone can make a mistake when putting in results but when you phone in and you are told something else..........!!!!!!!!!! How many punters were not refunded there money??? Must saying thats REALLYYYYYY doing you money in COLD BLOOD!!!!!

Like I have written previously I am not singling one site out. This happens at all the sites online. We all know its not the companies/betting sites trying to rip you off like some others state about other sites(as I do know how some of the clanners bat for Hollywood here), but it boils down to inefficient staff. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!

It is about time all the online sites pay a better dollar for more efficient staff......staff who know what they doing, ..... staff who are working with sports bets know something a little about sports.........who work with horseracing that know a little about the game and what bets are available!

Hollywood is losing its customer services spark.

Unfortunately the staff and i cant say all ,dont always know more than there customers and when u try to explain to them a mistake or query they dont want to listen and take note.The top management and owners are great.

ycentaur this is really an exception this case of yours but i complain more about poor service in this industry than most but can say 100 percent that hollywoods service is extremely good and sometimes i get the feeling that certain people come on here with the sole purpose of running them down....i could list a few online sites that not only is their service shit but they havent got the balls to lay bets to people who have an occasional win or 2 but rather close their accounts...these companys should be slated and ripped to shreds

Guys, Hollywood are bound to make some mistakes. Think about the number of different bets/markets etc that are placed everyday!
Sure, in an ideal world their staff should be trained to deal with them, but shit happens.
One thing you do know is that if the "junior" staff don't deal with it, you can be damn sure that a senior member will have it sorted out for you in know time! The person that runs their twitter account is unbelievably good. Send him a question/query and its dealt with within the hour.

Like I said I am not on here to slate any one site. I believe mistakes do happen at ALL the sites. ITS HOW THE SITES HANDLE THE MISTAKES. Thats SERVICE!! In this instance the guy at Hollywood was admant that if the batsman is the the SQUAD then its a bet. He didnt know the difference between squad and starting eleven. Thats why I say, get people who know the game or train them properly. Let them write exams on their companies rules. This should be done by all sites.

I have also been hopping site to site recently. Hollywood still offers the best deal in my opinion.

Case in point :
On the weekend , I walked into the Bettingworld offices in Pmb and wanted to take a multiple with 7 horses.
I was limited to maximum R14.00 (yes true). Took 40 000/14.
My bad luck, the last horse in the multiple (Swift Bow) did not feature. I also did the bet with Swift Bow to place (26000/26)

Agra you must be really cleaning Bettingworld out that they limit your bets. I know a guy who hits them every month for at least 100k and his bets have never been limited.

This guy will not be telling you his losses,there is not a bookie on the planet that would take this loss.

PS Hollywood are sorting this out as we speak..
