It will be mesmerizing, if CAMELOT wins and replicate her “VISUALLY” impressive classic wins ! CAMELOT had a hard race at Doncaster but has experienced Frankie Dettori in the saddle now.
*** Make no mistake, 3YO- CAMELOT has a tough task today ! History is against 3YO-CAMELOT ! Whereas, 15 horses have won the Triple Crown ( 2,000 Guineas, the Derby and the St Leger ), ONLY one ( SEA THE STARS ) has taken the first two Classics ( restricted to 3YO), and The ARC !
In the past, such greats as NIJINSKY, DANCING BRAVE, SIR IVOR and MILL REEF have all failed.
All of SEA MOON, ST NICHOLAS ABBEY, ORFEVRE are battle hardened rivals.
SHARETA was 2nd last year ( winner of her last two races Gp. 1 fillies ) carries my each way money at 10/1, confidence would have been higher if the rains had stayed away !
Cant wait for the spectacle ! Good luck with your selections !

It's a great race for 3 year old, I am sure 8 have won in the last 10 years you must remember that few horses try the triple crown and Arc it's normally one or the other, so sometimes the history record can look distorted.

Yes, You are right Mill Reef won the ARC (1971).
The list is in the contest of winning the sequence of two classics ( 2000 - Derby & the ARC ).
Mill Reef was beaten three lengths in the 2,000 Guineas by Brigadier Gerard in 1971 (as a three old) !!!!

Nothing to worry, in sports (esp. horse racing) anything can happen. Camelot's chance is very much alive ( good draw, 2400m her ideal trip & Frankie up ). The only thing which I did not like was price offered 5/2 is a farce really against battle hardened rivals and not to forget rags-to-riches runner Saonois !
It will be MESMERIZING, if/when CAMELOT (can win) or Saonois (unlikely) wins !

Cheers Good, is a bit misleading as the other 3 did fail in the Arc but not Mill Reef and true it was beaten in the 2000 gns and I lost that day.
Nijinsky did win the triple crown and got beaten a short head in the Arc, I also lost that day!

Well it's double the price of 5/2 but I have a feeling it will either win or run unplaced, if he is as good as Obrien thinks he is should WIN, if not something BIG might go wrong?
We will only know at 4.25 can't wait!
Enjoy, don't forget the other races

Drift ( on betfair ) is alarming, Camelot now 9/2 !
No big hitters from Ireland ! Although money came (for Camelot) last week.
Agree with you, Its either BOOM or BUST !
