Scotia on the ARC (tu)
12 years 8 months ago
Good evening all and hope you are ready for the ARC (Sunday 7th Oct) it can only be described as a mini series to match Dallas with all the drama and rumours during the last few weeks.
The bottom line is that we have no Snow Fairy, Nathaniel and Danedream but we do have Orfevre 3/1 and Camelot 4/1 plus St Nicholas Abbey 10/1.
After the dust has settled and the speculation has gone, I have no doubt that Camelot will get back on winning ways.
Have watched the St Leger many times and the body language of the jocks has convinced me that young Joseph just had a bad error of judgement and the new jockey is the 3 time Arc winning star, Frankie Dettori and I am sure he will bring the "good thing" home.
My money is down!
scotia has no doubt Camelot will lift the ARC
We are still up to our ears with building contractors to get "The Hangover Sports Bar" up and running by the end of the month but would have to say a very exciting project and I am still taking the tablets.
The site is still buzzing and many interesting threads and competitions.
We have had many sports threads on Cricket, Rugby, Football and what about the Golf? Fantastic stuff!
USA were the same price as Frankel and 10/1 for Europe on last day
On the subject of Frankel remember the farewell is in the Champion Stakes at Ascot on the 20th Oct.
The QE11 Stakes will be run on same day where Excelebration should pick up another race in the absence of the "Champ".
Whatever happens by the end of this flat season it will long remain as a year to remember Frankel, Black Caviar and Camelot, it takes me back to the early seventies of Mill Reef and Brigadier Gerard.
The Greatest Ever
We have the jump season to look forward to and before the Cheltenham festival we have the King George on Boxing Day, could we see Kauto for the last time?
Highlight from the site.
Book early for the Summer Cup (I am sure we will enjoy the box)
Gosforth Park being investigated.
Zuma upgrades home.

Greg, judging by the bet types on offer, I would say yes to broadcasting
