Louis G goes shopping

After that run of Mighty Jet dunno if i am so sure anymore about this guy.
But the results speak for themselves.
If we take the loot tomorrow i will be a little more convinced.

there is no need for doubt
when a few years ago i saud he was the best (imo) i was laughed at. now 2 years later better horses , running consistently and showing returns there can be no doubt

Below is how LG goes about the r2r,hope he don`tmind me posting...
READY TO RUN SALE, 2012
This is our “happy hunting ground”, the Emperors Palace Ready to Run Sale. Whilst we have a proven track record buying horses from normal sales, this is the one niche sale that suits our approach- Unlike with all other sales, where we select horses on pedigree, looks, conformation and their walk, here is the sale which evaluates us and our ability to choose an action, with a rider on top.
With only some 6 weeks to go to the sale on the 2nd and 4th November and our obvious excitement with our prospects for this year’s Emperor’s Palace Ready to Run Cup (R2,5M stakes!), we are as focused as ever, on that weekend. To us, it’s a “no brainer”, buying from this sale- older horses, closer to a race from date of purchase, reduced costs spent “waiting” for your purchase to run and most importantly, only the horses from this sale are eligible for the R2,5M 2013 R2R Cup!
Our approach is simple:-
1. We attend the gallops.
2. We simply eliminate those horses without a “specific” action which we look for/identify.
3. We take our approved list to sales premises and we then examine those particular horses. We eliminate horses with faults, then look at breeding and then we bid on our shortlist, for you.
What we do not do……
1. Look at the catalogue before the gallops. Not under any circumstances!
2. Look at “this Captain Al or that Trippi”, unless the horse passed our test at gallops (no action, no buy).
3. Change our approach to this sale. (Why fix something that’s not broken?).
What you do……
1. Decide on your spend/percentage etc. ASAP.
2. Let us do our work attending gallops, identifying “the right ones”.
3. Examine our final list and then tell us which horses from that list you are interested in.
The above ensures our continued successes on your behalf.
All that’s left is for us to obtain your mandate. We will have our shortlist by 10h00 on Friday 2nd November.
Please let us know if you or your partners are in and your limits etc.
Best Regards
Louis Lauren
