R10 patent exceeds liability with worldofsports???wtf?

Is it worth playing with the bookies?
A lousy R1.00 win yankee (60/1) is rejected as exceeding 'market liability')!

A R20 win patent (22.8/1) is also rejected.

MY position is clear: if bookies lay, they must f... lay! If not, just f... off from the playing field! They cannot have it both ways with restricted unrealistic odds, and then 'market liability'!

It's such goings-on which piss off punters and have a negative effect on punting. On the other hand, the often alleged 'manipulated' tote payouts because of 'commingling' excuse!

To date, I still don't have a clear explanatioon as to why 6% tax is being dedcuted on tote-linked pool bets. ; that is sheer robbery!

Anyone wanna back me to take it up with SARS, Public Protector, etc (I've been told that the 6% is given to Province; whether given to Province or my grandfather, that's double taxation and illegal in my books!)?

The licensing authorities (Gambling Boards, many of whose members are there as rubber stamps or to protect the current interests) should step in and investigate.... and give direction. Rules should be put in place regading how bookies operate and lay odds; not self-regulation!

Or, just walk away from this unpredictable game no worse than a Lotto?

Bookies have a risk when laying the exotics... they are not taking 25% out

Take tote bets with the tote....

Must record that Greg has contacted me promptly to resolve the issue.

There does seem to have been some glitch!

It is frustrating that when one gets up early to take the day's bets (like yours truly because of time constraints and work during the day), to have such setbacks! Then, like most punters, we freak out!!!!!!!

I just couldn't place a bet, no matter even how small the stake!

So, no bets for me today!
