Hello Englander

I have been meaning to Post but unfortunately I am still a working man and with all the sports on the Telly e.g. HORSES, Cricket, Currie Cup, Golf, Soccer, etc, time constraints have not allowed me to.

I also do my own studying and pick the Horses I think could win and/or place and then check ABC Clanners picks and check why I missed it. I often choose to ignore this input which often is to my detrement. There is so much info to consider but I look at co-lateral form (try to use FormGrids but I am colour blind and also check Form Star), then race times, draws and also bring the Trainer & Jockey form into my reckoning.

I do not give my reasons for my selections as I type with one finger only so it would take forever to post, also the reason why I mostly only give horse numbers and not names. When checking on ABC at times I find it difficult to follow and to decifer what Horse is being discussed. My betting preferences are Swingers, Tri, Quart, PAs and place ATC and I appreciate the input I get from this site, from the Clanners, Trainers, Jocks, etc..

At the end of the day I only have myself to blame if my bet does not win so I tend to follow my own thought pattern, and BTW sometimes it is, after studying, only a gut feeling.

@fogwils
I think we all type with one or maybe two fingers here. Except maybe Ziets who uses the Caps Lock button too.(tu)

Great site .... i check it maybe 20 x a day but dont always post,most times i check what others selected and why and sometimes adjust if someone like Englander are way to confident about his idiot selection....lol,like yesterday scorpion king ,gregbucks and englander did study and we all had a lot of the same selections,then you know you did your job well and can hammer the units...hahahahaha....if i loose i normally fight with everyone because i don't accept defeat easily, if ever,so yes ,sorry for that ...i want to be the best and someday i want to be the new "magic lips" so bear with me sometimes....what i would love to see more is the explanation of why the clansmen tipped a horse....if its inside info,then say so,if its something everyone else missed in the form,tell us....if its an idiot selection,also tell us.....
Would do my part also to explain more when i tip something....

Not me Pirho... I actually have exam certificates for typing... one with distinction!! ::o true.

Fog and Ziets... thanks and interesting (tu) Ziets, I said... the idiots are nearly always based on form and time, I would simply be repeating myself. But, if ever there is one you would like a particular explanation on just PM me... but be warned, I might just reply saying... time and draw >:D<

Im supposed to be studying (for my degree) but instead i am checking back on ABC.

Havent been on the site for very long. Bit in the time i have been on i use the site 100% for knowledge. Never back someones picks blindly but as said before if i see someone has picked the same horses as me i may add a little extra on the bet. I dont read the daily thread before i have made my selections as i dont like to be swayed.

Really enjoy when somebody picks up a form line that i havent, or gives advice based on a race they have watched that i most likely missed. Wanting to get into the horse ownership fraternity i have also had more help from this site than i could have imagined. Really helpful and insightful people.

My only problem with the boards is that often i am enjoying a discussion on a Thursday or a Friday and then over the weekend it gets lost ot page 4 or 5 and i dont want to be pain and revive the convo.

Anyway, thats pretty much what i use the site for.
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!
