IMO she has a better understanding of horseracing,as a sport,than a certain CEO who has such a control over most of it now!
I found it comforting that her concerns,regarding the undue influence over regulation ,are the same as mine,as I have been harping on about it for ages.
I am sure racing will be better off for her stirring of the pot,regardless of the ultimate outcome.

any idea if and when it will be on tt again?somehow i very much doubt it but hope to be proved wrong maybe someone has found it on youtube and can give us a link .

My comment at this stage is that normally one has a stake in something. I get the impression that if you asked her who ran 2nd in this year's July she might answer that she isn't there to rattle off stats in place of don't know...don't care. Having a small financial interest in a handout doesn't really give you the clout to stand for office or speak on behalf of your peers. Peers being those who eat, sleep and breathe the sport.

I'm not sure that making a complaint is evidence on the face of it that you are therefore credible. Had she been handed what she wanted, would she still be challenging the inefficiencies of The System on everyone's behalf?

From what she's said, I could pay R100 for a bungy jump, decide I like it and set off to champion Bungy SA's rights to buy the bridges from the respective municipalities and maybe keep a slice of those pre1994 pieces of engineering.

very educated lady. i did watch the interview she speaks with a lot of sense and seems to know what she is talking about, may be in a few years we will love her or hate her
